Discourage, Oakland hardcore darlings, just released their debut LP and it's fucking sick. Reminds me of a faster Verse or something in the same vein as Have Heart/mid-00s Bridge 9 bands.

Candy’s new album sounds like it’s going to be industrial music on acid. It’s gnarly and scary as hell and I’m here for it.

 

Knoll dropped a heavy as hell track too.

 

Candy also dropped some NSFW merch today if you’re willing to wear that sort of stuff in public lol

 

the only one of the three shirts that didn't sell out immediately... I wonder why

 

I own at least two metal shirts with people in varying states of undress on them and that nee Candy shirt was a bit much for me.

Duuuude I wish.

If they were playing in DFW, I'd be there for sure. But the drive to Houston/Austin makes it a little more difficult.

I'm going to So What?! on Sunday though so at least I'll get to see the rest of the tour (Terror, Pain of Truth, Sanguisugabogg, Kublai Khan)
