Good album

 

Portland Hardcore
PURITY, by Purity

 

Isn’t there another hardcore band going called Purity? Maybe we get another Vice NY/OH situation

 

This band?

 

Sort of a revolving door Punk band with various members from Outbreak, Faith No More, Comeback Kid, Social Distortion, Rise Against and Cancer Bats.

 

This band is going to blow up. Nuclear Blast is already saying they are the next big thing.

 

Initial thoughts: Nike, Dethklok, & beer

 

I like the contrasting vocal styles

 

I think Age of Apocalypse is finally starting to grow on me. Just gave the record from this year a full listen and I definitely am getting it more.

 

Not going lie. I thought this was the band coming back and then I realized it was a song title and some more deathcore...
BOO!!!

 

This rips. It goes from sludgy and metallic to anthemic and melodic, almost poppy, and that's just in the first 3 tracks:

 

I just discovered drain thanks to a friend and they absolutely shred so hard

 

Nice now you can check out like Mindforce and Dead Heat for more of that flavor if you haven’t already.

 

Mizery is a very underrated band for that style too

Saw Foreign Hands last night and they ruled. Been listening to that EP so much since it came out.

 

saw Momentum/Twist of Cain/Facing Worlds/Tribal Gaze/Ozone play in a tiny record store last night - good times

 

Both of those shows sound like a blast!
