The bass in the begging and that breakdown… They also brought some pop punk on this track as well. Band is still killing it.
Really cool band from the Detroit area with the vocalist of The Black Dahlia Murder doing a guest spot. More "metalcore" than "hardcore", but it's good metalcore.
Some good Hardcore from Belarus. Maybe a mix of Snapcase and Comeback Kid with hint of Metallic Hardcore.
Just preordered this bad boy! https://closedcasketactivities.com/products/santa-sangre-feast-for-the-new-gods It's a re-rerelease of the 2001 album with all new artwork and remastering. The original release was on Eulogy. To those unfamiliar, this was the band that formed after Syracuse Straightedge Hardcore band Another Victim called it quits when Andy, the vocalist went to college. Essentially the same band with a new singer. They only recorded one album but Andy came back and they started The Promise. That artwork looks killer!
New Age of Apocalypse LP coming out in January on Closed Casket. Axe To Grind dropped the first single on the podcast today. It sounds fucking awesome.
Still too early for shows IMO, especially with a new variant but glad people are getting out there and seeing them. Hopefully in 3-6 months we will be in a MUCH better space. Fingers crossed!
I’m two hours away. As I mentioned before, I really want to go to shows but can’t commit because of Covid. Although, my son can finally get the vaccine! Also, this show is off the chain!
On my potential docket. I'm seeing Enforced on Friday in Norfolk with Exhumed. It being a Tuesday makes things a lot harder.
Considering Virginia gets skipped on most major market runs because we're flyover country compared to DC and North Carolina, I'll take what I can get especially in my backwoods C-market.
Cleveland is a great spot to live for shows. Plus Pittsburgh, columbus, and Detroit are all decently close too.
I'll just say Enforced and Undeath are like my 2 favorite bands right now and they both were insanely good live.
