The Section H8 record rocks, I enjoyed it a lot more than I expected

 

@swboyd I know you're gonna see Enforced next weekend. Are you going to the pre-show with Mindforce, Regulate and Dead Heat too?

 

Nope, unfortunately. My parenting schedule and the buddy I'm going with having to work prevents me from getting up there that early.

 

It’s kind of lame that show is happening the same day and it was announced like a week afterwards. Gonna have to wait to see dead heat.

 

Ace has been chomping at the bit to put on and play some shows so I can’t blame him but it is a long day if you go to both.

 

I'd be at both in a heartbeat if I could make it happen, but having a kid kinda cramps my show attendance even if I love the little guy a lot. I at least discovered he doesn't hate Self Defense Family this morning so I'll take that win.

 

Cherish the shows you can go to because they will become less and less as your child gets older and a soccer game, etc becomes the priority over a show.

 

Yeah hope the crowd ain’t too tired for Enforced. Honestly having second thoughts on the show as a whole though. The Camel is tiny and this delta shit is whack as fuck. How can I drink beer with a mask on inside?

I heard they rocked at Palooza.

 

I was at the Metro gig on Thursday and can confirm they rocked. It’s everyone that played on Significant Other minus the drummer, who writes and records but no longer tours. They lean into the bit just enough, but they perform and play well. It’s straight up good entertainment. Fred also shamed folks who haven’t been vaccinated. If you get the chance to see them I would recommend it.

I also thought it was interesting that Fred basically manages the band. When you are booking them or talking about show details leading up you are dealing with him directly. They also don’t sell merch at shows bc Fred doesn’t believe in the merch cut haha.
