One of the guitarists was in another band that was short lived and didn’t get enough shine called Holy Land (aka spirit animal). They had a demo and ep

 

Hell yeah. Holy Land was dope.

 

You know the band is good when it has Ian and one of the guitarists from Drug Church. A bit of a surprise sonically from last year's EP but still a solid tune.

Currently, I'm just getting it for the Minor Threat releases alone...need to dig into the other four 7" on there some more.

 

Zack from 185 Miles South recently had two authors on who wrote an article about all these bands and how they are considered “The 1.5” or the intersection of punk and hardcore. Not truly fitting into either category at the time. Essentially late 70’s/early 80’s.

 

Very cool. Been wanting to add Legless Bull to my collection for a while now.

 

I’m really into that new Candy Apple album. Been listening to it quite a bit.
