This is some angry, dissonant and pissed off metallic hardcore.

 

Rejoice is awesome. Another band featuring members of En Love. Circus is another band with En Love members. All are on Delayed Gratification Records.

I haven’t been to the Palladium in a minute. They used to have awesome shows.

 

Also, $15 for ALL THOSE BANDS?! Woah

 

I never got to see Hope Con :(

Did catch All Pigs Must Die opening for AN though. Not as good but still was good.

 

Hope Conspiracy live was one of the best show experiences ever

 

Death Knows Your Name is a top 10 hardcore record for me, at least from the aughts

 

Cold Blue is top tier Hope Con.

 

The hope con was great but I much prefer all pigs must die

 

It’s really not even comparable. Two VERY different sounds and the only common denominator is Kevin (and his vocal style is markedly different as well). Comparing Suicide File and Hope Con on the other hand...

With that being said, all those bands are great.

 

I didn't see either one, just Bars when they opened for Vaux

 

Bars is so good. Glad you got see them for their short lifespan. I think it was Kevin with all the guys from AN right?

Damn I haven't thought about Vaux in a long time.

J Alexander’s catalog is something to behold. Possibly one of the best in hardcore imho.
