I dig it enough to get the 7", but I definitely am hoping they keep some of the punk urgency from Never Better on the full length. I slept on that record in 2019, and it was a revelation when I listened to it randomly last summer. Would have solidly been in my top 10-15 for 2019 if I had listened to it at the right time.

 

For the powerviolence fans, World Peace dropped a new song from the upcoming record. Band features a member of Spy.

Since I have no idea where else to post this, here's some adjacent punk stuff on New Morality Zine I'm really digging. Probably my favorite 2021 release so far.

 

I posted in the emo thread and then I saw it posted in the pop punk thread. lol. I think it speaks to the unique sound going on with this album. A little bit of everything for everyone. It is my favorite release of 2021 so far, and I can see myself playing this A LOT during the summer.

 

New Morality Zine quickly becoming a "listen to anything they put out" label

 

Agreed - them, Holy Figures, Thought Control, and G.I. Bill have all put out awesome stuff in the last few months from them.

 

The Buggin EP from last year was so good, been meaning to peep that Blind Idol release too. Has members of that band Maniac, who are also good.
