I have actually seen Arma Angelus before. Pre-Fall Out Boy. Pete smacked himself in the head with the mic on the first song and bled throughout the whole set.

 

Am I a fool for only hearing the hits from FOB and writing them off completely? Is there a record or two I should actually give a fair shot?

 

if you haven’t already I don’t think there’s any point, but I think From Under the Cork Tree is a great pop punk record. Their first few records are fine, anything they made after reuniting goes straight into the garbage

 

Take This to Your Grave is one of my favorite pop-punk records from that era

 

Their early material is great and Infinity on High is probably their last good pop punk album. After that, they became a different band entirely.

 

UTCT is a pop punk staple. After IoH, they started becoming a radio rock band.
