Best 7 Hardcore albums of the first 7 months of 2020. Can’t say I disagree!

 

I feel like I've been behind on hardcore this year other than the heavy hitters (Mindforce, Gulch). Are Stepping Stone and The Fight good starting points?

 

Yeah they are good. The Fight are getting a ton of buzz.

 

The new Dropdead tracks sound great.

 

I'd also recommend Concrete, Entry, Glorious, and SpiritWorld.

watching the Magnitude LDB set now, and I'm just reminded how great "To Whatever Fateful End" is

I know it's only a year old, but I really think it's gonna be remembered as classic in 10, 20+ years.

 

their set was sick

 

I saw them last year in a tiny DIY space and they killed then too

 

I think Magnitude are destined the next big hardcore band on the same level as Madball, Terror, etc. Their songwriting gets better with each release.

 

I thought their LP was a huge step up from the EP, but I still don’t love them.
