The first single from the new supergroup featuring: Vocals: Daniel Austin (Die Young) Guitars: Scott Crouse (Earth Crisis, Sect, Path of Resistance) Bass: James Chang (Undying, Sect, Catharsis) Drums: Cameron Joplin (Magnitude, Ecostrike)
New demo from Snyder from Weekend Nachos and Morgan from Hive. Good shit FFO Negative Approach, Death Side.
The new Concrete album is pretty good. Metallic hardcore with elements of black, death, and thrash metal thrown in:
Can confirm this is solid. It’s reminds me a bit of that Leeched record from earlier this year. Also, some All Out War (the band, not the Earth Crisis album) It’s cool how they go from beat down to blackened thrash.
Concrete was a local band to me and Lenny is a really good dude. The music never really caught me but to see them getting discussed on here is cool.
You should give the new one a shot. I've listened to them before and thought they were fine, but this one feels like they made a bit of a jump. The back half is especially strong, and the closer was not what I expected but I'd love to see more from them in the future.
I always catch Lenny's post on IG/Facebook and usually give them a stream. I haven't heard any of the new stuff yet though, will give it a listen tonight.
Gulch - Impenetrable Cerebral Fortress For anyone interested, second press is up. Already listed as "out of stock" on bandcamp lol
Year of the Knife record bangs, the hm-2 is a nice touch to their sound Also, new band with members of Mindforce/Death Threat. the Tears for Fears flip at the end had me losing my mind:
Interview with Madison from Year of the Knife. https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/100-words-or-less-the-podcast/id394647425?i=1000487900909 She runs a website as well: www.candycorpse.com
Soooo... Just put two and two together that Year of the Knife is a Tears for Fears song...lol @cherrywaves
I really want to like RO’s Ronin, but I just cannot get into Walter’s vocals despite liking everything he’s done previously.
