Any metallic hardcore fans on here? Here in the UK we used to have a great band called Last Witness that I love. I even travelled to Hamburg in Germany once just to see them on their farewell tour. Any-who, here's one of their last releases -
I would have gotten similar results to you, and ETID would have taken it, but The Bled might have made final 2. I have a real soft spot for Pass the Flask.
If we are judging solely on that era of the bands, PTW wins for me, hands down. Runner up might be Misery Signals.
I more recently revisited The Tropic Rot for the first time in years, and for whatever reason liked it much more than I remember when it came out.
Anyone else agree that the vocal delivery styles between Drain and Rotting Out are mad similar? Would agree that RO vocals on the new album would take some getting used to; Walter's def rough around the edges but I can get into it. Wasn't expecting that Xibalba guest spot tho.
Same, and I think the Drain album is a lot more fun and variant in general. Dudes needa blow up now. That opener is killer. Are more bands gonna be added to Sound and Fury? Was v surprised they weren't on the announcement.
New Like Rats is out today too. Def more death metal than hardcore but contains members of Weekend Nachos and the like.
