Bolm used to post on APnet around 08/09 and his collection was pretty massive back then too IIRC

 

My collections like 130 and I've def sold upwards of 50 over the years.

 

If Jeremy (or anyone) wants to spend their hard earned money on vinyl (or anything) and it brings them joy, good for them.

New Xibalba and END songs seem pretty ripe for the current state

 

Will never forget seeing Xibalba and Nails in a bar the size of a living room and how terrifying that was lol

 

Surprisingly I’ve only seen Nails once but it was with Dillinger Escape Plan on an ankle high stage. Total disregard for anyone’s safety that night.

 

The last time I saw them, Gatecreeper opened, and Todd kept screaming about they were “real deal chicken McNuggets with barbecue sauce death metal”

 

Not sure if it's been mentioned, but what did people think of the latest Higher Power record?

 

Not as good as Soul Structure but it still whips ass

 

I like it quite a bit.

They are from my neck of the woods. The singer used to be in a straight edge hardcore band called Abolition, and the guitarist Max was in a band called Broken Teeth.

RE: Recent conversations

Seeing Nails go from playing a 200 cap room to selling out a 700 cap room in Chicago in a matter of a couple years was a real mindfuck for me at the time.

Especially when the lineups went from Nails/Full of Hell/God's Hate/Eternal Sleep/GAZZAN to Nails/Toxic Holocaust/Harm's Way/Gatecreeper/Like Rats.

I've probably spent way too much on vinyl over the years and have 200+ records now. I need to inventory them to see what I've got, but that's not happening any time soon.

But yeah, that's all I got to contribute right now.

 

I think the intermittent touring that they do certainly helps. People know that they’re not just always going to be able to catch them in their city year after year

 

Now let's just hope Todd stays off social media for the rest of his life and focuses on making music. Nails was a lot better of a band to me before his toddler-like rants last year.

 

I liked him in Carry On and Terror.
