Cannot emphasize how stupid hard this Division of Mind record sounds even after dozens of listens

Their record from last year is awesome!

 

I just gave UnityTX a spin. I didn't love it but i've been seeing this band talked about a lot. Thoughts?

 

They're local to me and have a pretty decent following around here, so it's cool to see them getting bigger and bigger (opening for Poppy). Too rap-core-y for me, but I dig some of the riffs/breakdowns. Fun in a live setting, but I don't ever really put their material on otherwise.

 

Yeah Wigsplit and Hail Mary were cool mosh songs, I found the rest pretty passable.

 

The intro on that record is hard as hell and I didn’t think the rest lived up to it

Yeah it should be a good time! I missed the Higher Power pre-show because I was driving down. Excited to see how much hype there is for One Step Closer now.

 

I would like to see Bitter End again. Always seemed like they should've been bigger than they were.
