Terror do a good job at bringing out younger/newer bands. Replace Kublai Khan with Creeping Death and that tour is A+
Creeping Death >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Kublai Khan, but Kublai still puts on a pretty good show also, CD is on tour with Acacia Strain, Rotting Out, Fuming Mouth and Chamber during this time, which is a BANGER lineup
always gotta love the sxsw spillover. i'm also amazed that gulch is headlining over true widow and fiddlehead. i didn't realize the hype was that big.
yep I'm actually happier to get the sxsw spillover than to actually to go to sxsw and deal with all of that. The Gulch hype is real. I am a little surprised to see them over Fiddlehead, since this is their first Dallas (maybe first Texas) show. But it's Gulch's first time here too, so... edit: I didn't even include the Thurs and Sat shows, or the other stuff going on at other venues simultaneously, but there's a bunch of killer shows that week. These were the only metal/hardcore ones though.
I'm even more surprised to see them over True Widow...a Dallas band who I believe has a cult following and 4 albums out. Good for them though furreal. I love Gulch, and I've beaten the two tracks on the 2019 Promo to death with my listening habits. The debut LP has potential to be my hardcore album of 2020 if it lives up to the hype...and Closed Casket actually puts it out this year.
Yeah, I've slept on True Widow to be honest. I'm guessing that Gulch may just be the bigger draw at the moment bc of them not having played here and TW playing here often!?!?
Gulch/Fiddlehead/True Widow is such an awesome, diverse lineup. No Right and Soul Blind are dope too. Idk what the other band is
Regional Justice Center and Mortiferum are the other bands. Both are sick. And it is truly a diverse lineup.
Members of Subzero, Agnostic Front, Dog Eat Dog, etc. I love how all these guys get together and just have a blast.
didnt someone shelled out $200 for a gulch hood on ebay a while back lol i had a chance to see regional justice center once because they played a show at a bar in town, still assmad i didnt get to go >:[
Saw The Royal Hounds last night and they ruled. Their new album is good. Same with Chubby and The Gang.
Really wanted to see Chubby and the Gang but traffic was fucked and I couldn't make it to the venue in time.
I feel like the Be All End All record from last year was slept on, I listen to it a lot. Wish I caught their set at AHC this year.
