MCR come pretty close

 

MCR isn’t a hardcore band and had much broader appeal.

 

I totally understand but I also agree with this

 

Oh yeah the influence is totally there on Bullets.

 

Just finished A2G. Very cool episode and I will probably do an Ink and Dagger discography run.

 

Also it’s cool listening to them and realizing Geoff makes hella references to them throughout Thursday’s career.

I may be reading too much into this, but a little while back on A2G, they were talking about Green Day and saying "mark my words, Green Day will be cool with the kids again soon" and then a couple weeks later, the big FOB/Weezer tour was announced. Now they're talking about MCR and rumors of a MCR reunion are going around. Coincidence?

 

James Dewees leaving the TGUK is a big clue the reunion could be happening.

Vamachara EP is cool, I think they're close to making something great.

Also the more I listen to the new Queensway the more I like it. Band should be bigger.

 

Anyone have any more info on the Merauder stabbing story? What exactly happened? What's Jorge's condition?

 

I couldn’t really get into the Queensway album. The vocals are a bit rough. Are there two vocalists? It seems like they are trying to do an older Donnybrook type of vocal style.

 

Checked out the Integrity/Bleach Everything split where they cover a split that was done long ago by Septic Death and Rocket From the Crypt. Pretty good!
