The combination of the lyrics, the bands aesthetic and their incredibly obnoxious lead singer make them the worst band currently going to me. I also hate the music, but yeah it sounds like a bunch of other bands
The Emmure shirt is lame, but he's spot on about hardcore having another "moment" and this current Knocked Loose tour being special and kind of feeling like the shows back in the day. Definitely the wildest crowd I've seen locally in years.
Hope Con but SF would be a close runner up I think it’s just the fact of the one, two punch of Code Blue and Endnote is tough to beat. Front man wise, they are dead even.
See, I like the more hardcore version of Hope Con and even though Death is great, it’s definitely more rock.
The Suicide File, no question. Really memorable riffs and lyrics. The early Hope Con releases have not aged well for me, and Death Knows Your Name is actually the only one I can listen to now.
It is my honest opinion that Waterparks are the worst band the scene has produced if you combine their music and personalities.
can we just avoid all discussion of waterparks in this thread unless we're talking about places like schlitterbahn? please and thank you.
I've never been, but it always gets namechecked on the Best Waterparks in America lists, so it's on my bucket list. That place looks so rad.
Suicide File no question I think the Hope Con vocalist gets to showcase his vocals better in All Pigs Must Die. I adore the Suicide File
I adore them both equally and wish they both had a longer run. Dave was on the podcast and said he would love to do more but he is a principal so it takes up all of his time.
It's all natural spring fed so the water is pretty cold, but it's cool because you can float down the actual river. Like I said, it's been years, but they also have like 3 different parks you can go between (kinda like Disney World) - One has a wave pool and lazy river, another with more adult rides like the uphill water coasters (they're one of (if not) the only places to have uphill water coasters) where they propel you uphill in a tube like a roller coaster so you get multiple drops. It's legit.
I got to see All Pigs Must Die open for American Nightmare’s first Boston show back. Never Hope Con though. I think I’d pick Suicide File as well but I love both and played them all day.
