Man, the closer on that NEG album, 1 Of Those Nights, might be my HC SOTY. So cool that a band that hard and aggressive can pull off a song so cold and desperate with such a somber melody ta boot.

 

Side project of Andrew from Comeback Kid and his brother. Hard to describe but very electronic based. Really good as well!

Anyone listen to that band Silenus? Haven’t listened to their record but their set was straight up caveman riffs. Made me forget my times tables

 

I didn't. I haven't been feeling great the past couple days. Feeling better today but still debating going out late on a Tuesday night. If it were bands I was a bigger fan of, I wouldn't think twice. But the day is still early, so I may still wind up going.

 

Okay. Better question. If I only go to one, RJC tonight or Sheer Terror tomorrow?

This was kinda my thought.

I'm not huge into either band, but RJC's set will be super short and Sheer Terror seems like a band I should see at least once due to their legacy.

I listened and the production is really bad so it’s hard to get a feel for the band but I could definitely see them touring with Harms Way, etc.

 

Yeah the recording on this thing is ROUGH, but there’s enough there to keep me looking out for future releases
