I don’t think I’ve enjoyed any of their new material tbh

 

It’s not perfect but it’s better than anything from that album imo. I’m hoping that album was them getting the cobwebs and dust off of everything.

 

I love this EP. I listen to it multiple times per month.

I was just thinking this. First LP isn't there either. Huge bummer, that band used to be so good

 

Went to see the Ekulu/Illusion tour last night, our date had Red Death headlining (new LP in the fall!). Great show!

 

Excited for that tour in a few weeks

 

I was going to go to that show, but I'm going to see my new niece that is being born today instead. Ekulu live was really fun at United Blood.

 

They’re allegedly playing Boston on the 28th but I have no clue where. Def trying to go though

 

I missed Ekulu both times at Sound And Fury because of the small room getting filled on Day 2 and Power Trip played the same time as their Basement aftershow set.

I’m going to miss their show again in a couple of weeks but now because of work lol

I hope I see them eventually

 

Could have sworn I saw it was at DAP but now I cant find the info anywhere

This is a great set

 

Musically they've got better but I still really can't stand the vocals

 

That was great. Band has always been on point.

 

The album is still 2 weeks away, ugh.

 

The vocals are the key part of their sound imo. Def an acquired taste but without him, they just another chugga chugga band

 

Vocals were what attracted me in the first place
