This is wild experience. I think the heat dehydration makes it more intense. They couldn’t sound better.
I can't speak for the people behind me, but the stage was up at the perfect level for me to see from in front of the soundbooth.
I’m 6’ 2” so I’m fine no matter what but that just looks like a festival where nobody no can see a darn thing.
I was parallel to the big yellow mural but it was definitely hard to grasp just how many people were there from where I was. Just got home. Insane gig, all bands killed. Hope y’all had fun
Looks awesome, but I like my shows with 100 kids not 10,000. Probably would've been too stressful for me. Was the first video from the indoor show? What was the cap for that?
I will say, that it speaks volumes as to the fact that a hardcore band can draw almost 10, 000 people.
They sold 9,000 to 10,000 tickets supposedly so that's where the estimate came from. Either way, the event was a benefit so more tickets being sold is a good thing.
Oh yeah no doubt from me they very well likely did sell that many for the benefit. I’m just saying that was not that many people in the parking lot today. Haha it is not difficult to eyeball a crowd and tell the difference between 9-10 thousand people and 2-3 thousand. And tbh I’m glad there were not that many bodies cause it would’ve been very difficult to remain cool or comfortable. I am a giant pink salmon right now.
mht was a rather infamous poster back in the AP days, dude was a total gatekeeper about hardcore and constantly shit on bands and people he didn’t like. He wasn’t the worst though, that honor goes to Them Chains.
The inside show looked insane. I haven’t been to the palladium in years but I thought the stage was higher? I don’t remember it being so low to the crowd.
