    I get to go visit my grandfather for his 90th birthday this weekend. My grandma is top five favorite person ever and all of my aunts and uncles will be there.

    I guess after the second or third day we pretty much knew and said we wanted to be exclusive, but the official date of being boyfriend/girlfriend was a week after

    re: happiness comes from within/not others, that's too broad a statement to be universally true and it's always bothered me. i am someone that draws the lion's share of my happiness from my relationships. not just romantically, either. hopping on ps4 to play littlebigplanet with my nephew, board game nights with friends, summer nights at my aunts on the boat, all these things bring me great joy and without them i would fall into a deep depression. when it comes to romance, i am absolutely more motivated to self-improve when i have a partner to consider in the decisions i make. i refuse to think there's anything wrong with that. we're all different and draw our inspiration from different places, and i welcome it wherever i can find it within reason.
