Really liked the last episode, but what was the ending song? It was an an instrumental of a song I recognized...
damn was no one else blown away by this week's? learning what happened to her husband was fucking heart breaking, and then when he finally realizes she alive... whoof i fucking lost it
I thought it was good and really liked getting to see what happened with their attempted escape and some life outside of Gilead, the ending of it was certainly a tearjerker. But I definitely didn't think it was one of the hardest to watch, not compared to some of the other stuff we've seen the handmaid's have to go through this season. I'd say the hardest for me was the ending of the 3rd ep with Ofglen and the Martha she had developed a relationship with. Ofglen as a character to me was very intriguing and I'm disappointed that season ended for so quickly. Luckily though Bledel said she doesn't know what happened to Ofglen after the 5th episode so there's a chance she could come back in the next season.
there are certain moments that themselves were harder to watch but front to back i think this was the hardest overall to bear emotionally
The first half of the newest episode was so fucking hard to watch. Even just the way Waterford was looking at her was sickening. It was incredibly well acted though and I enjoyed getting some background on Nick. I knew there was no way we wouldn't see Samira Wiley again. I've not read the book (although I'm going to when this season is done with), so I'm very interesting to see how it gets wrapped up.
i get the feeling that site's mostly satire, but damn that reads pretty much exactly like a fb status one of my, um, passionately evangelical hometown acquaintances made after the Women's March lol
Really felt like this show was missing something, and I don't know what. It was fine and all, Moss was great of course, but idk, I never found myself really pumped to watch it. S1s of Dramas are rarely the peak though, so I'll look forward to S2.
