That Tele is utterly lush. Also, I think you've put together a board which is like an exam for a guitarist. If you can't get a solid set of tones for like 80+% of popular music using that, you've got issues.
Didn't mention guitars, but my current set of electrics is: Fender MIM Strat HSS (2005ish I think, massively modified to now be a single wide ranging Creamery HB, one tone, one volume. Only other original parts are the trem block, back plate and the wood) Fender AM Standard Tele (2013) G&L Doheny V12 PRS Custom 22 (2013) Currently got 3 guitars I'm trying to shift (to cover the PRS) as well. Smallest collection of electrics I've had for quite some time, but the AM Fender, G&L and PRS set such a high bar that I'm not gassing on guitars too badly these days.
yeah that was the goal with the board haha thanks. i like a lot of different shit so has to be verstile
i've found some good gear on craigslist but also this is the kind of shit we're dealing with in missourah
Yep, it's way better to be able to change tempo immediately than have to hold the DD-20 down for a couple seconds to activate it. It does look silly just dangling off the board, but I wanted more space for actual pedals.

Ya'll...I'm so fucking frustrated. Just got all my gear set up.. using Logic Pro X. I have a schecter with active pickups running through a focusrite 2i2... every single built in amp has an insane amount of hissing. I've used this guitar through logic before and haven't had an issue. I used two different chords and still have the same problem.. any ideas?? It's driving me nuts.
Ughhh I just opened up my girlfriend’s epiphone casino to change the strings (she hasn’t opened the case since we moved last year) and the headstock was broken :((( Gonna take it in for repair tomorrow but I am so bummed lol
Thankfully the headstock breaking on gibsons/epis is not too uncommon and there’s a few reputable shops in town that can fix it. it has some sentimental value as it was her dads guitar before he passed, so hoping for the best!
Unrelated…I’ve been trying to work out sounds for my Chase bliss mood mkii, and man this thing is like learning a new instrument. I really can’t figure out how to use it, especially the microlooper side. If anyone has settings they’d like to share, I’m all ears lol
If it's newly plugged in, have you checked in Logic (or your DAW) that the input to Logic from the Focus is just the instrument channel? I think when I hooked mine up the first time, the default was for the DAW to try to run stereo inputs, so it had both the mic and the instrument inputs running in together. If you've got an open mic channel with the gain up, that might just be dumping a load of noise into Logic. I assume it also has the INST switch on the instrument channel. That boosts it a bit, although I wouldn't expect that to create endless hiss. I also have the gain on the instrument input set to basically 0 and that creates more than enough signal. Only other thing I've found annoying with mine (and it's somehow worse for it than a much older Alesis IO2 I had) is that the driver (or whatever it is) gets out of sync and my guitar goes all crispy/clippy sounding. I have to open the device settings and flick safe mode on and off to reset it. Does it basically every time I fire it up for the first time. Never worked out a permanent fix, but I think it's something annoying to do with Windows lowering the priority on the USB bus its on or something annoying like that. I'm unfamiliar with Logic, so unsure how sensitive it is as default. Maybe the input gain is through the ceiling?
