Cut down my pedals so i just have: Boss Tuner Boss SD-1 Boo Instruments Tremolo Boss DD7 Digitech Polara Need to incorporate my RC-3 looper into that. Playing through a Quilter superblock US and Orange terror stamp. Got a Yamaha THR for when I wanna be quiet/cba to get my main stuff out.
i’ve got a tone master pro (ish rips) and a dl4 mkii. i go direct into my computer, but i have a tweed deville. also was gifted a small ampeg bass. i need a bass and a proper electric
I stopped playing guitar for years, didn’t own any guitars or gear besides on old acoustic, until like two years ago and I have about 15 pedals today lmao
my current board is: Vox wah, polytune 2, strymon compadre compressor/boost, benson germanium preamp, earthquaker white light (basically a cross between a MXR D+ and a DOD 250), earthquaker hizumitas (bass-boosted big muff), walrus monument tremolo, warm audio chorus, earthquaker levitation reverb the fuzz gets switched out most bc I have more fuzzes than anything else and I sometimes either sub in a phaser or flanger for the chorus
It's heavier than my strat for sure, not heavier than my teles though Neck dive is there but it's not unmanageable at all Extremely comfortable and great
My main board. My main usage is running a rock jam, where we play all sorts of stuff. Probably short of a modulation pedal of some sort, but this goes a long way.
I can do it pretty well but I’ve definitely activated the onward while trying to turn off the octa psi on stage before lol
Fender AV2 1961 Stratocaster Nystrum Custom Jazzmaster (p90) Taylor 114 Epiphone SG 68 deluxe reverb reissue tuner Earthquaker dispatch master Em-drive I need more pedals haha
Here’s the pedalboard and a few others that rotate in and out as needed Don’t judge me too hard lol, I wish I’d bought a smaller klone instead of that warm audio one a couple years ago before I knew what I was doing. I use it for mediumish gain and they all sound the same to my ears for that use tho so can’t justify selling it at a loss to get a smaller/less obnoxious knockoff and only have one functioning electric guitar at the moment, have an 80s MIJ strat copy that’s disassembled currently bc I’m putting a hot rail in the bridge and probably upgrading the other pickups too Main amp is a fender blues deluxe reissue but with upgrades tubes and put a Swamp Thang speaker in bc I almost exclusively like to run a clean amp and get all my breakup from pedals. Also have a solid state fender from the 80s (Princeton chorus) that was their answer to the Roland jazz chorus kind of, and a quilter mini head that doesn’t have its own cab at present.
So do I want to know whether you got the KTR when it first came out or paid $$$ for it haha edit: zero judgment to be clear!! Just curious
i have not, but I absolutely love the ktr edit: most people like using them for a clean boost but i use it as an overdrive
yeah but only on at like 9:00. i mostly use the level part bc i like the sound of it pushing the amp more than the compression. and then the boost is a good treble booster
I’m not sure I love what the klon does by itself but as an always on at the end of the chain it makes any other drive pedal you kick on sound so good imo
