I really want an AC30ish amp, does anyone have decently affordable recs? I'd like to pay <$1200 if possible but could go up to 1500 if needed
Every AC30 I've seen has been over 1200 haha, could probably find one in the 1500 range but would still prefer something a bit cheaper
I was looking for new when I was looking which explains it; I haven't used Reverb before, I'm guessing it's typically trustworthy in terms of used stuff being in the quality listed?
do you really need the 30 watts? ac15s rule and now they got the ac4 and its actually really awesome too as far as I can tell
yeah AC15 was more than enough for me. i actually like the circuit more. no one needs that much headroom.
AC10 here for me and that sucker is very loud. Granted, its just me with no other instruments playing.
@Fucking Dustin I think you may be able to get 25% a Vox here Huge selection of Guitars, Amps, and Effects for sale if it doesnt let you apply the coupon right away let it sit in your shopping cart and theyll probably send you an email with the discount
AC10 actually blew me away. Wasn't expecting it to be that loud. You can for sure gig/rehearse with it. Also sounds great at low volumes. I've owned a 30 and a 15 but my back doesn't like them too much.
traded my AC15 and cash for a morgan mvp23 about six months ago and folks it fucking rips. ac15s see dope tho
Just picked up a super kraken which has a built in TS style boost, but i kind of want something a bit different than a TS. Does anyone have any recommendations?
There's always the option of splitting the difference and getting an AC15C2 so you still get the second speaker. I had an AC30 until two months ago. I got rid of it and a Vox AD100VT and I replaced them with two Fender Hot Rod DeVille's. I got a 212 and a 410. It's unnecessary volume wise but I use both more for a tone variation. The band I was using the AC30 in is pretty loud and I had to crank it, which is what made me decide against getting an AC15. The AC30 tone was incredible though and I kind of wish I wouldn't have gotten rid of it. I'll probably get another one eventually. I did get to record an album with the AC30 though and i'm very pleased with how it sounds. Here's one song. The full album will be out in a few months. Like Leaves, by Eliza Battle
Bought the OCD pedal today. I had one when I use to play bass,so im pretty excited to hear it with my guitar.
Interested to see what you think. I know it's a famous and well regarded pedal, but I had a go on one a few years ago and didn't understand the hype at all. Could not understand what it was for.
