like Im also interested in the Fuzz Factory but I like that the Haunt has the mix control. Seems like it could be subtle when I dont want to be flat out crazy. any other cool gated fuzzes out there I should be looking at for this?
i only played the OBN Haunt fuzz once but it was for hours and it was love. i wish i was made of money so i could've bought it. definitely a really "messy" fuzz though, like it was mentioned
on the OBNE Haunt what happens when the gate is turned up but the fuzz is really turned down? I really need to find one of these to play
it basically sounds like something running out of battery juice haha. which is cool, but not exactly “usable”
you can definitely get it out of that pedal, but off the top of my head, i don’t think those settings would be great for it. i haven’t played that pedal in like two years though tbh.
Just ordered myself this lovely thing. Been wanting a jazzmaster basically forever. Fender Player Jazzmaster w/ Pau Ferro Fretboard in 3-Colour Sunburst - Andertons Music Co.
I was tempted by the Jaguars coz the player range comes in a more interesting variety of colours, but I had to go for the Jazz, it's been my dream for so long.
I mustve got a good one because I never had an issue with it and I got it in 2010 or 11. but then again I didnt play shows or anything.
I had a DL4 for a little while, and it's cool, for sure. I mean, the guitarist in Minus The Bear has/had like 2 or 3 DL4s on his board. What I love about the DD20 though is that you can dial in the exact delay time you want with it's digital display. You can be spot on each time you use it. I got rid of my DL4 as soon as I found a DD20 because of that. It was too hard to get it just right in a live setting. All 3 of us guitarists in my band have one now, and it's perfection. The DD20 also has a hidden modes and stuff, which would be fun to mess around with if I ever decide to actually learn them, haha. I've only seen people do them in YouTube videos.
I always loved the dl4s sweep echo mode. You can hear it in all its glory on radioheads scotch mist version of videotape. The Line 6 DL4 Is Quietly the Most Important Guitar Pedal of the Last 20 Years | Pitchfork
Haha, I know. I was just stating my opinion on it because I was stoked when I replaced my DL4 with the DD20. But anyway... carry on, peeps.
I've always loved the Strymons. I also dig the DL4s. I run a Flashback x4 and a Carbon Copy on my board and love those two. Damn, I just love delay.
el capistan is my favorite i’ve played but i can’t drop that kinda cash haha. i’m using the keeley caverns on my board
I got a Blue Sky fairly recently and it's such a good piece of kit. Love that it's got so much going on, but is still really simple to use. I'm a bit of a Luddite with pedals, so I'm not a big fan of anything which requires more than turning a few knobs or flicking a couple of switches. Delay is coming from a V1 Flashback and (I think) a MK2 Aquapuss. Anyone used the Toneprint stuff on the TC pedals? I had a look at it for the Flashback and was pretty amazed at how much stuff you could do with it. Also, why are we not just seeing some pictures of boards!
