Overall this album is probably my second fave ATL album behind Nothing Personal. So good

Satellites is easily a highlight of this album for me, but it's because of the 1-2 punch of Satellites into Kicking & Screaming. It builds up the tension really well and then it just releases as soon as Kicking & Screaming starts. I really like that approach to starting an album.

Give me an hour to relisten to this cd and I’ll vote

 

Thinking about it, after just listening to this, I'm not sure I ever heard this before. I sort of remember listening to Something's Gotta Give, not particularly liking it, and just ignoring the rest of the album. Some of the songs do sound vaguely familiar though and I wound up liking this much better than I thought I would. Anyway, I'll try not to miss any matchups this round:

Kids in the Dark (hard matchup, Edge feels almost like a precursor to the sound they went for on LYR, but I think I prefer Kids)
Tidal Waves (don't particularly like either, but I prefer Tidal Waves)
Cinderblock Gardens (not sure I agree with the consensus that this is one of the two best on the album, but it's a good song)
Missing You (this one's OK, but I really don't like Our Bed)
Old Scars/Future Hearts (favorite song on the album vs. my least favorite, so easy matchup)
Satellite (really think this a good opener to the album)
Dancing With a Wolf (I'm a bit surprised about how much I liked this song)

That’s the first time I’ve seen that take about Dancing With a Wolf, I think it’s one of their worst songs ever

 

it's in the top half of the album. should never lose to Don't You Go

also How The Story Ends totally rips off the entire chorus of a song i can't remember now
