Only Every Time remains one of my favorite records

 

Put Only Every Time on tonight for the first time in years. It's so fucking solid! I recall someone on ap saying it was just good music, that they recommend it to people if they like good music. It takes me back to one of the first dates I went on with my now wife back in 2011. Thanks to AP.net for telling me about this one!

 

Made the swap to Apple Music yesterday, and Anhedonia is here and I am so thankful.

This band needs to get on the train with other bands from this era who are reuniting and playing again. Never got to see them live and would absolutely love to.

 

Been a few years since I've talked to anyone in the band, but unfortunately I think the pseudo-reunion a decade ago was the closest we'll ever get. I'd love to be wrong though.

 

Did any of them ever end up in other bands? It totally makes sense for them to not return - this music probably feels like a lifetime ago - but now that Days Away are playing shows, it feels like anything is possible.

 

Corey hasn't done music at all to my knowledge. Matt was in the Dangerous Summer for a decade and is in the Juliana Theory's live band now. Jared was in TDS's crew, not sure what he's up to. Max and Tim are in an awesome pop/funk band called Starwolf that grew out of their initial post-Graduate project The Sun and the Sea.

 

Thank you! I logged into Facebook for the first time in forever recently and was like...who is Starwolf, why do I follow them, I know they have members of a defunct band and could just not remember who.

 

Only Every Time holds up better but I still enjoy Anhedonia. Best song is "The City That Reads"

 

I’ve been revisiting both albums recently, I really miss this band. Pull Me In is an all timer for me
