WTF was Robyn's set?! So disappointing. She barely sang, it was just her dancing to mediocre house music.

 

Bloc Party and Father John were amazing though !

 

Beck and Bloc Party stole the show last night.

 

@ComedownMachine they were soo much better than at Landmark fest in the fall. That Strokes Clash cover was one of the best things I've seen live.

Also Jamie xx had everyone fucking moving during his set, loved it. Father John Misty was great too

 

Currently waiting for haim and the killers but about to see Lord Huron in a few, have no idea what they're like.

 

Strokes was solid didn't dig hearing the new songs. Bloc party was best imo. Also matt and Kim was so damn fun. Side note strokes s d robyn closing out the night was a bad choice, neither were capable of headlining so many people were walking away from both sets to leave early.

 

@Daisy Simpson - they're solid live! Pretty accessible folk/rock if you ask me

Haim was incredible.

 

Damn did I get drenched tonight. Miguel and M83 were amazing, though.

Also for those who didn't see, Prophets of Rage are the surprise guest for tomorrow.

Thunder supposed to start at 4....kinda wish they'd just let Prophets, Kanye and DCFC play at like 1pm and say fuck it to the rest of the lineup.

 

All acts scheduled before 3 have been cancelled. This isn't looking good.

Tom Morello confirmed that Prophets of Rage will be doing an NYC show TONIGHT for the govball people! A full set by them, indoors, instead of a 30 minute set by them in the rain may make this all worth it....

Last night sounds like a shitshow. I didn't attempt to attend cuz I knew it would be.

 

I ended up buying a ticket to Summerjam. I was just so bummed about govball being cancelled and I had friends going and I didn't wanna do nothing. Really regret it though lol shit seats for like $130 per ticket....the rain cancelled so many sets and it got delayed for hours. The Kanye/GOOD music set was a lot of fun but then after that it just sucked. I think I watched Bryon Tiller and Fat Joe but then left during ASAP Rocky. it was like 1am and there were still 3 more sets to go.

 

did you go try to see kanye at webster for the trifecta of disappointment?

 

Disappointed about Day 3, but damn did I have a good time at Haim and The Killers on Saturday.

 

Damn, what time did the show finally end? Must have had to pay crazy overtime union fees.
