Lmao true. At first my head was like "YES it's Ron helping her build furniture because that's something he does" and then immediately realized that Nick does the same damn thing for a living
I'm glad they didn't try and do anything super twisty. Just gave us all the farewells. All I was hoping for and definitely one of the best finales
Seth stuff was sweet, though I feel like Ted definitely has something really nice he wanted to say about Kirsten and then realized "Wait then D'Arcy has to talk about herself" and while the stuff he said about D'Arcy was very nice as well, I kinda wanna hear was he was gonna say about Kirsten
THIS! I thought the same. Chidi's quote about the ocean and the whole episode just creates a different, perhaps 'calm' perspective on death. I don't really know if I ever experienced this feeling after watching a show. (okay maybe after Leftorvers)
This broke me, what a superb final, spent all of that either crying, laughing or doing both at the same time. I finished watching this a good hour ago now and I still keep tearing up.
I cried a lot and totally called that Mary would show up with Michael, that made me so happy. I don’t think I’m as happy with the ending as everyone else though. The acting and the writing were tremendous, I just don’t know if I agree with how totally traditional it went as far as ideas about death and the afterlife go. I’ll have to do a full rewatch and read some interpretations and see if that makes it connect more for me.
The post show is way too wholesome and hitting me harder than the show in some ways. They are all the best.
leslie was bad for the first two seasons. that's, like, a pretty common complaint lol. she gets much better though. the opposite of the michael scott situation.
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful ending. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a perfectly contained story on tv esp. for such a high-concept show.
Take it sleazy Good ending! Made me feel at peace with the ending of the show. Like I'm not gonna miss it, but it was a fun ride!
