Tell me how this isn't a logical opinion though. Brushing your teeth and then eating a piece of chocolate is a comparable experience, no? And I feel like it's generally accepted that most foods don't taste great after brushing your teeth
I honestly think the recent rabid adoration of The Office on the internet has tainted the show for me, it used to be absolutely commonplace to shit on pretty much everything after the third season but all of a sudden you get immediately jumped on if you say anything bad about any part of the show at all Like I forget how much I absolutely love the first five or seasons of the show
It’s been forever since I’ve watched it but I associate Michael driving a car straight into a lake as the first big jump the shark moment. Season 4 I think? Like that sticks out in my head as an early moment where they decided to diverge from the core idea of the show being about normal people and cross the line into cartoon hijinks
Community had a lot of great great moments but was so inconsistent. The eternal ranking debate of peaks vs consistency continues.
Community was such a slog to get through. I bet if you put all of these next to each other and wrote out your likes and dislikes and then cross referenced with each other, the margin of why you did or did not like something would be pretty slim.
This thread is back in the Bad Place again. Although some mysterious force was kind enough to make me miss all the Spader slander last page, so I guess it somehow evens out for me.
