it’s also just not as funny, touching or good as people make it out to be. it can sometimes be as simple as that.
I just hate it when people act like your opinion is wrong or a hot take because you don't like something that they love.
My blood pressure really can’t take trying to argue about parks and rec sooo instead I’ll say I’m p confused is there one episode left?? People are saying “two part” finale so does that mean it’s split up into two weeks episodes? Or is it just long? Lol ahhhh I’m not ready for it to end
I don’t fully understand why it’s listed as two separate episodes instead of one long finale, but they are both coming out on Thursday. I can’t decide if I want to try to watch it live with commercials but where I can chat with everyone here or wait until it’s on Hulu.
I think that’s where the confusion is coming in lol. I’m like why are they calling it a two part finale instead of saying “with a special hour long finale” or whatever Regardless I have to wait for it to be posted on Hulu so if you do that you’ll be in good company ;)
It’s way more relatable and realistic to me than Parks, especially working in office jobs my whole life.
I love you and have your back about everything except for your factually incorrect and naive opinions about parks and rec it’s fine!!!
I have a lot of Office hot takes Every show is flawed and criticism should be expected. I have problems with this show too, I’m still very excited for the finale.
Yeah, I only ever watched P&R with my parents when I was younger, and while it does have some amusing personalities, it feels too G-Rated and depersonalized to me. It just feels like it tries too hard to find humor. Especially Adam Scott's character doesn't work for me at all. The Office is more relatable to me. It especially speaks to the bizarre social climate that young people find themselves in. There's so much humor found in everyday shit, and the way it makes us feel. It's just kind of comforting.
I absolutely adore this show and I know it has problems. I also understand why some people don't like it.
honestly the adoration for schur across all his shows is a little overrated. they can be incredibly funny at times, but they're nowhere near the best sitcoms, let alone best comedies, even in the last decade
I get tired of the wholesomeness of his shows. It’s not a negative but I don’t always need to feel warm and fuzzy when watching sitcoms.
