Downloading this show right now. Only heard good things so I'm excited to dive in.

Honestly that's what I came to see once I saw the thread updated.

 

NBC sure knows how to kill the momentum whenever they get a good show

 

Mis-season breaks are always the worst - Especially for first season shows.

 

Dammit I saw this had comments and such disappointment when I loaded up Directv

 

We're only getting 4 more episodes when the show comes back. Big bummer, but apparently it was Schur's choice, not the network. He wrote the season one plot for 13 episodes and doesn't want to compromise the story to stretch it to 22 or 24

 

like, it's cancelled? or that's all we're getting this season?

 

Pretty sure he means for the season. It seems it's done pretty well ratings wise and a lot of times networks will call for a back 9 episodes. This was originally picked up straight to series with 13 episodes as opposed to the usual 22-24

 

that's what i though the case would be. personally, i don't care how many it comes back with in the spring, as long as it gets a second season

 

So we'll get a story resolution within 13 episodes and then a next season at around 24 with a different story?

I like that much better. I honestly wish all shows only had 13 episode seasons. 22+ is just too many for a cohesive tight storyline.

 

This comes back tonight right? Very excited.
