I know I'm kinda late, but I started the series with my mom a few days ago (but couldn't wait to finish it with her) and watched frrom S1E5-S3E1 in the past 24 hours & wowie. Really looking forward to catching up before this starts back up
E! Misidentifies Jameela Jamil as Her ‘The Good Place’ Character’s Sister at Golden Globes not sure how real this is but it made me chuckle
That promo made me realize we have new Brooklyn Nine Nine and The Good Place back to back this week. We don’t deserve this.
I don't see any go karts let alone go karts driven by monkeys wearing sunglasses mailmen from heaven, I literally owned that calendar I didn't get past March there was a Dracula baby Drac blew up my mailbox with a bazooka take those up with the folks at Weird Contest magazine this is how I always got out of escape rooms if you break enough stuff they kick you out of there Paul Scheer! it's like when my parents went to symposium and I sneaked in and looked at their unabridged dictionary I assume it's because you're happy, are you horny, is this a horny cry my tears taste like the nacho cheese from my favorite movie theater that's a stupid reason to keep crying, relationships are stupid first you worry you'll never find someone then you worry they'll leave Tolstoy said..., I know that quote an unverified Tyra Banks account posted that meme on Instagram the titanic is sinking and they're writing a strongly worded letter to the iceberg how do you make Jason happy you give him a lollipop shaped like a Transformer he gave his grandma roses but the roses were picked by migrant workers and sold by a corporation with a racist billionaire ceo woo, weird thing to cheer about what's up fart faces Chidi and I just had sex in a closet IHOP cool, not cool the interdimensional hall of pancakes is the most dangerous place in the universe
Some great jokes this week but story-wise it felt a bit like filler which is unusual for this show. Still super happy it's back
I couldn’t disagree more I really loved the ethical questions it’s posing and I think it’s about to go to a place that makes me really happy. I loved loved loved this episode
The idea that the world has become much more complicated over time and hard to be "good" in is interesting. Kind of ties in with the idea of no ethical consumption under capitalism.
That episode had like...everything I needed to hear this week. Also Jason immediately crying when seeing Janet and Tahani crying was the hardest I've laughed in a long time
I fell off a few episodes back and I still need to catch up before I can read these posts, but I realized I actually miss checking this thread every time it is at the top of the page. Everything involved with this show is so wholesome and good, even the online discussion cheers me up.
