The initial twist only worked because we had no information about Michael, we have information on the backstories of the four actual people, so that wouldn't make sense that all of that was fabricated, it wouldn't be satisfying. Michael being in the bad place as well does make sense, or this project being thought of as a way to torture humans and demons together might make sense.
Holy fuck I didn't realize season 2 started, definitely gonna have to make time to watch that tonight
Just came here to echo everyone else's feelings on the last episode. Definitely one of the funniest of the series.
Yeah last episode was brilliant. First couple of episodes have done a great job subverting the expectations of the cat and mouse game between Michael and the rest of the squad. Can't wait to see where the rest of the season goes.
so wait what season are we on? I just binge watched season 1 on netflix and don't want to go through the thread if there are spoilers for season 2 anyway liked the show a lot. It was easy to get through but I wouldn't say I loved it. I was DEFINITELY surprised by the twist at the end of season 1. Piqued my interest a lot for season 2 and how they are going to develop the show.
the cop is bad the bread thief is bad the whiny prostitutes are bad plus they're French and all French people are in the bad place automatically, it's a baguette which makes it more French and more bad I had the Duke rule, both because of rank in nobility and the University I'm not some kind of scientist who forecloses on banks I'm your hottest friend no Tehani I'm your nicest friend no Jason I'm your friend pulling an Eleanor, posting my cousin's credit card number on Reddit because she said I looked tired opposite tortures, you mean presents diamonds are literally carbon arranged in the most meaningless way, they're space garbage they're meteor poop the shrimp dispensary! Pikachu !
Finished my rewatch of the first season today (liked it even better on rewatch) so I'm probably gonna binge every episode of S2 tomorrow and get caught up
