The initial twist only worked because we had no information about Michael, we have information on the backstories of the four actual people, so that wouldn't make sense that all of that was fabricated, it wouldn't be satisfying. Michael being in the bad place as well does make sense, or this project being thought of as a way to torture humans and demons together might make sense.

 

Holy fuck I didn't realize season 2 started, definitely gonna have to make time to watch that tonight

 

Just came here to echo everyone else's feelings on the last episode. Definitely one of the funniest of the series.

 

Yeah last episode was brilliant.

First couple of episodes have done a great job subverting the expectations of the cat and mouse game between Michael and the rest of the squad. Can't wait to see where the rest of the season goes.

so wait what season are we on? I just binge watched season 1 on netflix and don't want to go through the thread if there are spoilers for season 2

anyway liked the show a lot. It was easy to get through but I wouldn't say I loved it. I was DEFINITELY surprised by the twist at the end of season 1. Piqued my interest a lot for season 2 and how they are going to develop the show.

 

Season 2 just started, there are spoilers but we're only a few eps in

 

I'm not really feeling S2 like I did S1. Maybe as it progresses more, that will change.

 

The last episode was great, I thought they skipped a week because the thread was empty

 

Ted Danson is so good in this, and the Bed Bath & Beyond scene had me crying laughing

 

I think season two has been great so far. They keep flipping every thing on its head.

 

I love how ballsy this show is, and it's really paying off. Super unique show

 

SO good. It's still kind of crazy to me that Danson is 69 years old, he ages very well

 

I would definitely rate this show as an 8.

Finished my rewatch of the first season today (liked it even better on rewatch) so I'm probably gonna binge every episode of S2 tomorrow and get caught up

 

I laughed for a good five minutes straight at the first trolley bit.
