The Good Lord Bird (Showtime) TV Show

This show is so good I love everything about it lol

I need to start watching, as well. Looks great.

 

Just watched the first three episodes, really liking it. Ethan Hawke is incredibly entertaining, over the top but in such a great way. Daveed Diggs as Frederick Douglas was also awesome, and always happy to see Wyatt Russel show up in things.

 

Just started reading this book a couple days ago. I'll have to subscribe to showtime after I finish so I can watch this.

 

Just finished it, it's excellent. It's a bummer that it seems to have flown under everyone's radar

I watched the first episode; I wasn’t sold but I’ll continue on.

 

Finished the book a couple days ago and it was great. I'll catch the show at some point.

 

I think it really picks up with episode 3, but I was pretty much sold from the first scene.

 

The scenes at Frederick Douglass’ house in ep3 are so fun and weird

 

I wish ethan would get some more noms and recognition for the show. It was great.
