I haven’t read it but heard great things about the book
Love this cast

 

Fantastic book. It’s almost 1,000 pages if I recall and it felt like 100. So good. Not happy to see it’s becoming a movie, but I’ll see it eventually and hopefully it gets more people to check out the book / Tartt’s other work.

 

loved brooklyn but this looks pretty mediocre. hmm

 

I don’t think Donna Tartt books are meant to be adapted tbh but I really want this to be good!!

 

Skimming through people's TIFF reactions, not looking too great

 

This looks pretty bad, but I’d love to see Finn, Sarah, and Nicole in something else.

 

I started the book, might not be done till 2020 but I'll pass on the movie until then.

 

I thought this looked pretty decent. Getting kinda trashed tho. I still wanna see it cause it looks pretty

 

yeah, gonna skip this. kinda thought it always looked awful but it seemed to be getting a lot of hype. until this weekend lol

 

I probably know the answer, but did anyone end up catching this? It was like #6 at the box office

 

If it wasn't 150 minutes long, I'd be more eager to go give it a shot. I'll probably still check it out since I have A-List, but it might be another week or two (if it keeps playing that long)

 

3.6m on a 45m budget. you hate to see it.
