Sony’s Girl With The Dragon Tattoo sequel will arrive in October 2018


No Fincher, no Mara, no Craig. But it's happening.

 

I'm bummed that we won't be getting the proper sequels to "Dragon Tattoo," but I won't say no to anything Millenium-related. I'm so excited for this to happen. I liked the book despite the difference in author.

Also, I hadn't realized that book number 5 is due to come out in September.

 

Wow. Bummer. Dragon Tattoo is one of my personal favorites. The score, Craig and Mara performances, etc. I'll still give this a chance though.

 

Scarlett Johannsson and Natalie Portman are rumored for the lead.

 

I don't know anything about this book, but I'm kind of relieved Fincher won't be tied to one of the very boring Dragon Tattoo sequels.

Oh wow I didn't realize they were skipping over Fire and Hornet's Nest. I'm kind of cool with that....it would be weird to continue the original trilogy without the original cast.

Spider's Web was a surprising great read considering it was a new author. Excited for the new entry in September.

 

I don't know anything about this particular book in the series, but I thought the Hornets Nest and Fire were super boring movies so I'm glad Fincher isn't going to waste his time with them

Foy absolutely killed it in "The Crown." I'm excited that she's been cast as Lisbeth.

 

I thought Fire was excellent and would make a great movie. However, I couldn't finish Hornet's Nest, I was bored. And now I know nothing about Spider's Web.

 

There's no way that this won't be bad

That was somehow worse than i thought it was going to be, wow! Claire Foy's Swedish accent is worse than her American one.

 

it’s unfortunate bc i do think she’s actually a really interesting actor, just should stick away from any accent other than british haha

 

I like Claire Foy a lot, but idk about this one. Might check it out, unless it gets slammed by the reviews.
