me toooo! especially since he brought it back, and then like two episodes he disappeared again, haha...
Haha... yeah that confused me. Especially when he said "After a long break I'm gonna re-launch my Nothing To Write Home About Podcast @ntwhapod. Who should I interview?" and then like...nothing happened. It used to be one of my most looked forward too podcasts. Especially the James Dewees episodes cause that dude is super interesting haha
I was thinking the same thing. Listened in my car and A). the mix did...not sound great, and B). the "garage-y" style of production is not my favorite. That being said, I really like the Matt songs and can't wait for a new LP from them
Kicker EP is incredible. Makes me wish so bad they had 6 to 8 more songs ready to go and just made it an entire LP.
Really enjoy the songs but the production is meh. Someone nailed it with the garage-y description. Just doesn't fit this band IMO. But absolutely cannot wait for an LP.
Posted this in the tour thread as well, but thought I'd share here, too. Won passes to their sound check before the Boston show yesterday. Was kind of awkward as there were only about 12 of us in the crowd for it. They played all of the new EP, and a few others, including Dottie. They also played a song for (supposedly) the first time in about 17 years- A Newfound Interest in Massachusetts, which sounded fantastic. Was really cool to get to hear it in such a small setting. (It was also nice to be in the Paradise and actually feel the air conditioning. That place is always a sauna.)
