The Get Up Kids – “Better This Way” Video

Both new songs have been okay. Not loving either of them but not terrible. I like the tguk poster in the kids room.

This is hands down the best song they’ve released since they reformed.

To me, "Better This Way" and "Maybe" are already among the top 15 best songs the band has ever released.

 

I’m glad we’re getting new stuff but I’d also be totally ok with them re-forming every five years, doing a tour of all the hits, then going back to their respective projects.

 

I would have said this until we got this really rocking Jim Suptic GUK tune. I’ve really missed his contributions.

 

With all due respect to their respective projects, they don't hold a candle to the Get Up Kids.

 

There’s some New Ams stuff that is almost as good as the best GUK I think.

 

Could you pick out some song suggestions for me?

I do like Matt Pryor's last two solo records for sure.

 

Hmm... I would start with the album “Worse for the Wear” and go from there. The final album/compilation “Outroduction” is a good starting place too.
