Best thing about Orphans is the end part when he sings "where ball.a.ri.nas. layyyyyyy".

 

The bridge of "Orphans" alone is better than "Old White Lincoln."

 

Oh, that's a nice choice. I've never listened to Southern Accents, might give that a spin today.

I'd like to hear his take on "You Don't Know How It Feels". Think he could wring some real pathos out of that one.

Southern Accents might be the most Brian Fallon-y Tom Petty album. The production is a little dated in spots, but it's great.

I was actually joking with that one. "Old White Lincoln" is lovely. I just like "Orphans" more. And "Old Haunts" (RIP).

 

I'll give it a spin on my run rn.

See, AS is my favorite album but those two are in my bottom three on that album. ("Stay Lucky" being my easy worst.) Not that I dislike those songs at all, just feel like retreads of T59S compared to everything else.

 

AS being the best but Lucky, Orphans, and Old Haunt are the worst?
Fuck it, I'm calling out of work today and blaming you.

 

I had it in my head that we might be getting an announcement from him today.

Either way, if this thing is coming in 2017 we’ve only got like 6 weeks to wait.
