Howl

I love the idea that this could be a nod of the hat to Thunder Road. The lyrics are just so good. Only gripe is that I wish the song was longer.

Howl is an underrated song in their catalog, though.

I think it's a fitting match in that regard. Both short, fast songs that are lyrically excellent, and draw you in and make you wish they were both longer. I'd have a hard time picking in this round. Great Expectations was the first Gaslight song i ever heard, but I have soecific memories associated with Howl that keep that song close to my heart.

 

I know GE will win, handily, so I’m voting “Howl” because it’s a damn fine song and deserves to be recognized.

 

Great Expectations but Howl is still a great underrated tune.
