Old White Lincoln (Just classic Gaslight) Orphans (I'm not happy about having to vote against "Red At Night" so early, but I just love "Orphans") Red Violins (Not huge on either of these, but I was feeling "Red Violins" more on my listen through these tracks just now) Say I Won't (Recognize) (This was a tough one, I really like both of these, but again I was just feeling "Say I Won't" more on this listen) Selected Poems (I thought I'd go with "SeƱor & the Queen", but I forgot how much I like "Selected Poems" until I just listened)
Don't forget The Spirit of Jazz! Though I think there are enough S's left that some of them will survive to the last opening round
Old White Lincoln Orphans Red Violins Rollin' and Tumblin' Selected Poems This is moving so quickly, missed last round of votes entirely
Old Haunts (4) vs. Old White Lincoln (13) Orphans (10) vs. Red at Night (7) Red in the Morning (9) vs. Red Violins (8) Rollin' and Tumblin' (6) vs. Say I Won't (Recognize) (11) Selected Poems (5) vs. Senor & The Queen (12)
I'm sorry about that, I'll try to slow it down moving forward. I'm all over the place right now transitioning between jobs, moving in with my girlfriend and other things that it feels like I'm moving a million miles an hour haha
I feel like there should be some sort of tweak to make sure this doesn't happen. Under different circumstances, those songs could have both reached the finals.
I'm fine with tough matches right off the bat. I think it makes things more interesting. If I was organizing it, I would have done something like the first number song vs the last alphabetical song and worked inward, or just did a random selection in excel. I think working through each record is a little boring and predictable, personally.
I mean, it's an easy call for me. But it would be a pity to lose one of those songs in round 1 when something like "Biloxi Parish" makes it to round 2.
i think i correctly came up with the next 5 matches and, we're gonna lose some good songs, but it's not as dreadful as i thought.
All those that have picked Red Violins and/or Selected Poems are true Fallon acolytes, gentlemen, and scholars.
Old Haunts Orphans Red Violins Rollin' and Tumblin Senor & The Queen Why are "the" up next? Who categorizes things like that?
