Break Your Heart Bring It On Dark Places Even Cowgirls Get the Blues Get Hurt Feel like I could be the only person to stump for "Break Your Heart" here, but man, I love that song. Voting against "Film Noir" is tough too, but "Get Hurt" is just too good. Kind of surprised to have a round where I'm voting for three Get Hurt songs.
Boxer Bring It On (toughest decision for me thus far. Maybe two top ten songs for me.) Desire Even Cowgirls Get the Blues Film Noir
Update: Boxer (9)vs. Break Your Heart (1) Bring It On (6) vs. Casanova, Baby! (4) Dark Places (9) vs. Desire (1) Drive (4)vs. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (6) Film Noir (6) vs. Get Hurt (4)
Yeah, that's the one thing about the alphabetical way of doing this is that some rounds will feature multiple songs off the same album.
Boxer (11)vs. Break Your Heart (1) Bring It On (7) vs. Casanova, Baby! (5) Dark Places (11) vs. Desire (1) Drive (5)vs. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (7) Film Noir (8) vs. Get Hurt (4)
Stand up for what you believe in, damn it! Personally, I'd have a hard time with this match. Both are great songs for their own unique reasons.
Boxer (13)vs. Break Your Heart (2) Bring It On (8) vs. Casanova, Baby! (7) Dark Places (13) vs. Desire (2) Drive (6)vs. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (9) Film Noir (10) vs. Get Hurt (5)
Drive is the original Gaslight song. First ever written by the band, and such an indicator of the nostalgic/anthemic/bittersweet sound they are so good at. I cannot watch it go down in the first round But it's totally gonna happen lol
Boxer (15)vs. Break Your Heart (2) Bring It On (9) vs. Casanova, Baby! (8) Dark Places (14) vs. Desire (3) Drive (6)vs. Even Cowgirls Get the Blues (11) Film Noir (11) vs. Get Hurt (6)
Boxer Bring It On Dark Places Even Cowgirls Get the Blues Film Noir I think Break Your Heart is a good song but would have more appreciation as a b-side. Take that off and add Have Mercy. Much like Blue Dahlia, I don’t understand why Have Mercy was left off the final track list.
