Sounds more like Sleepwalkers and Gaslight than the other 2 solo albums to me, in these short clips, but we'll see. Also Sleepwalkers is my favorite of his 3 solo albums......
Wait, really? Where? As much as I like 59 and American Slang, Sink or Swim is like ingrained in my soul. They were still just a really good local band, saw them twice that summer at the lanes to a mostly empty room but the kids who were there (mostly us from njscene.com) were already devoted and it felt way bigger. Year or so later they sold the place out and then some for the 59 sound release show. So yeah, that year or so in between is super special to me but also feels like a fever dream
I would really love a solo tour too. Still bummed his CLE show got canceled during COVID and was never rescheduled.
Yeah I had tickets for that tour too and somebody good was opening - can't remember who but I remember being bummed it didn't happen. Was it Spanish Love Songs maybe?
