Also “Positive Charge” is definitely growing on me! That guitar rips.

 

I listen to Positive Charge at least once a day haha gets me in a good headspace. Such a good song!

 

Yeah I’ve always thought the key changes were distracting. I enjoy the lyrics of the bridge and how heavy the song gets at the end but honestly I like Desire better.

 

Blue dahlia is fun as hell

 

I hadn't listened to "Desire" since whenever I first got ahold of the deluxe version of the album with "Blue Dahlia" on it, and I just went back and listened to it now. I tried to listen with an open mind, but "Desire" is absolutely in the running for the weakest song Gaslight has ever released for me.

"Blue Dahlia" is a phenomenal song.

I am only vaguely aware of what key changes are.

 

Blue Dahlia is the perfect example of a song that I have no idea why it is a bside at all

 

Desire is an ok song, but Blue Dahlia is absolutely better.

I would put Blue Dahlia somewhere in my top 5 Gaslight songs.

 

Leaving "Blue Dahlia" off of Handwritten is *almost* as bad of a call as leaving "Have Mercy" off of Get Hurt.

Really hoping they keep both Blue Jeans and Here's Lookin At You Kid on the fall tour set.

 

havent heard Blue Jeans live in a whiiiiiile. might be my favorite Gaslight song.

 

I think Blue Jeans is a live staple when they headline, I think they've always played it whenever I've seen them. It's in their top ten on setlist.fm

Every time that song starts when I have a Gaslight/Brian Fallon shuffle going on I ALWAYS think its She Loves You lol

 

I kind of like "Blue Dahlia" as an epilogue to Handwritten. Almost like an "Into the Airwaves" style "bonus chapter" to that album for me. Not on the vinyl, which is a bummer, but what can you do.
