not to be greedy but i sincerely hope it’s the lead single of an album and not a one off

 

They said last march they’d be working soon on an LP so I gotta assume this isn’t just a one-off. They also still seem to be having fun which I think is really the biggest Indicator of how long it’ll go

I'm hoping to at least get an album announcement tomorrow and that the wait is not like 5 months....some anticipation is good but maybe like a 2 month roll out at most

Love to hear it! I'm assuming you either don't have much more intel or aren't allowed to say, but hoping the album is released sometime in the summer months. There's something about Gaslight in the summer.

 

What I do with singles is listen once or twice (often to determine whether I should pre-order), and then wait for the album to drop. Or a few times I've actually held out entirely until the full album.

 

I play the absolute hell out of the first 2 singles then hold off on any other released songs (usually) until the album

 

I tell myself I'm gonna do that, and then I play the hell out of every single note available to me because I have poor impulse control and this band means too much to me.

 

I listen to what I feel like listening to when I feel like listening to it.

I also keep a playlist of singles/pre-release tracks from upcoming releases that I throw on shuffle when I go for a run. Helps me keep stuff that’s upcoming top of mind and to stay hyped for it.

 

yeah i listen to the singles a few times then wait to hear it in sequence with the album.
