Makes me think the album is closer to being done if they're announcing a tour. Missed the news of Peter Katis doing the production. That's a great pick.
the gaslight anthem's first album in nearly a decade is not going to be a quick drop lol - i think we get a fall release, this is a short 3 week tour to probably stretch their legs and give us a new song or two in the setlist. theyre absolutely going to do a world tour to support the new album.
man whatt? was he maybe sick or under the weather for your show? in october i thought they sounded as good as ever.
I'm expecting something over the summer for the release, hit some festivals and a fall US tour for the album including a stop at Riot Fest.
I figured they wouldn’t be back to Michigan so soon after playing last year. Maybe later this year on an actual album tour
Yep I feel like this is the "B city/lets hit some southern places" tour or however you wanna call it. There will be a single or two out during it, but I think the album will be released in the August timeframe and another fall tour to the major cities/world will follow to be the "new album tour." Also ... I guess I'll fuck around and go to the Portland, ME show.
Got 2 tickets for Raleigh. Excited to see them, can't believe it's already been almost 5 years since the '59 Sound 10-year anniversary tour.
Visiting this thread since they announced they were a full-time band again. Still excited for whatever is next.
Didn’t realize this weekend will mark 1 year ago they announced. I could have sworn it was like in the summer haha
