Re: The setlists I know the guys mix up the setlists each night, but if they keep it so Handwritten/Get Hurt heavy, my regret of not being able to make any of these reunion dates will definitely go away pretty quickly.
I wouldn't put too much stock in one single setlist; they do switch it up and I'd assume for this tour they're gonna be doing a lot of refamiliarizing themselves with the entire catalog. But also, at the start of the year I thought my favorite band of all time was 100% done and now I'm seeing them in a few months and they're working on a new album...I'm gonna be on cloud nine hearing TGA songs live again in general lol I'm not even really crossing my fingers for certain songs on this one.
Tempted to try and rank, but I’d have American Slang too low and Get Hurt too high, and everyone would be mad at me lol.
59 Sound American Slang Handwritten Sleepwalkers Sink Or Swim Painkillers Get Hurt Elsie Local Honey I stared at this for about 20 minutes because I despise putting anything in the bottom three, and none of them deserve it. I adore all 9 of them.
Elsie The ‘59 Sound American Slang Handwritten Sleepwalkers Sink or Swim Painkillers Get Hurt Local Honey This was especially tough because of the consistent quality. I could easily be swayed into moving any of these up or down one or two spots.
https://www.kerrang.com/brian-fallon-the-gaslight-anthem-interview-reunion-tour-new-music-wembley/ Brian knows exactly what to say to make me smile so much reading these interviews. He seems so excited and happy right now with everything and I love to see it.

Man they were so good. Brian was really happy and cracking tons of jokes which was nice to see after the ‘59 Sound anniversary shows. The setlist was good, although I wouod have loved Old White Lincoln, Bring It On and Here Comes My Man. The songs they played from Get Hurt were generally the ones I knew best from the record and that material works much better live. Hoping they come back and maybe headline 2000 Trees next year.
Just saw them in Dublin. The band was great, though the Get Hurt songs noticeably brought the energy down and there were just too many of them. They did play for almost 2 hours though. Dunno what it is about Dublin, but Brian always seems a bit angry when he plays here. Spent a good few minutes on a rant about how much Nebraska sucks and berated some guy cause he thought the sign they made wasn't good enough.
Definitely agree about the Get Hurt songs. They killed the energy a lot. Which is a shame but I imagine over time they will cut them down a lot. He said something in Birmingham about having to get the boat from or to Ireland and he said he hates boats so maybe that is why ha
Nebraska the state. They are playing a game here on Saturday. On his day off in Dublin he apparently saw too many Americans who were talking about Nebraska College Football, which he didn’t like.
I'm hoping they headline the Friday around supporting Bruce at the two BST shows. That would be really cool.
