No NYC date though? Also...outdoor venue in NJ in October?! Thats a gamble...could be 80 degrees but also could be snowing haha
I’m so torn, I’d rather see them with my friend in Boston, but he’s flaky. So now I have to decide if I risk him bailing on me, or if I should just grab PNC tickets now while it’s easy and have them for an easier time traveling if I have to go alone
Also way easier to get good seats than I was anticipating. Didn’t think I’d be able to get Orchestra tickets. Side Note: Ticketmaster’s way of selecting actual seats sucks so hard. Go back to the best available option so I’m not stuck choosing tickets no longer available over and over again.
Anyone get anything in the first 15 or so rows of Orchestra for PNC? Never saw anything remotely close come up on Ticketmaster. Closest i saw on TM was Row M. I checked Stubhub.com and surprisingly hardly anything really close is listed. Maybe they're holding onto them for one of the other presales or the general sale on Friday...
Sadly if it’s being run through TM they are probably going to be sold as “platinum tickets” at first meaning they’ll be 5x the price to lure in some suckers …if they don’t sell then they go down to regular price closer to the show
it's been 8 years - are we sure that's not Matt Berninger on the chorus and outro of Stay Vicious because that's a hell of an impression
- Brian is very into it and seems genuinely happy - They’re aiming to write 40ish songs to pick the best 11 or 12 - They’re not very far into reaching 40
I remember a month or so ago, there was an interview where Brian said they only had a handful written. Like, 4 or 5.
they've been gone long enough for me to be able to withstand another year or so without new music. let them take their time. in the mean time we'll see them at the gigs.
Main takeaway that wasn’t mentioned that I took away is that this is a much healthier regrouping than the anniversary shows. I think that will probably show in their live performances, if only because they are actually consistently practicing right now, but happy to be together again.
They better have sold pants at the merch booth, because I couldn't imagine not shitting mine in a situation like that.
