the gaslight anthem, if they ever actually release new music, is not dropping a surprise album.

 

I’m not at all.

 

I’m almost determined to walk down to swagger & blade (barbershop he works at down the street) and demand Alex Levine tell me what gaslight has planned

 

He doesn't work there anymore lol, hasn't for a while actually. He's got a new spot in Wall called Idle Hand. It's his own place, he just opened it up back in December.

 

And then act like there never was a surprise. A band name’s biggest long con.

 

I live in Buffalo, and have received some information that makes me very happy.

Part of me thinks we may find out tomorrow. Tomorrow will be exactly one week since this all started, and if we do indeed get an announcement tomorrow, odds are presale would likely be Thursday, with General on-sale Friday. I can't see them stretching it out past this Friday, or announcing on-sales being for the following week either. Something has got to be coming tomorrow, IMO.
